I was given this part from a motorcycle.

Using various techniques i reverse engineered the provided sample into a 3d model

Utilizing more advanced tool paths that preserve tool life and provide better finishes

Creating the small radius on the inside of the octagon

The part was then held in the center and had excess material removed in preparation for 4th axis work

Final results after 4th axis completed

Fun little project i made to give back to those who taught me!
